Mission Statement

The mission of the Eureka High School Library is to empower students to become accomplished readers, independent learners, critical thinkers, creative problem solvers, and informed citizens by collaborating with other educators to plan, design, teach, and evaluate learning experiences to meet the needs of all students. We strive to provide both content and an environment inclusive to all by offering welcoming library spaces, an extensive collection of materials, and dynamic library media instruction.

The Eureka High School Library serves approximately 1900 students and nearly 200 staff members and its holdings include approximately 20,000 books, 500 videos, 30 periodical titles, and hundreds of ebook and audiobook titles.

The library also provides students and staff with access to numerous databases including EBSCO, NewsBank, Gale , and SIRS.
