Applying to College

Applying to college takes several steps.  Once you submit an application, you need to do several things.

  • Submit the Transcript Request Form (see below)
  • Speak with your teachers about any recommendations, should they be necessary.
  • Make sure you meet our transcript/application deadlines. 

For those using the Common Application...

Please list Mr. Buckman as the Counselor under the Recommenders Section.  This is how your transcript is uploaded and sent.

Due to the large number of applications that we process at EHS, we ask that you be considerate when turning in your applications and requesting transcripts to be sent. 

Please get your requests to us AT LEAST TEN DAYS prior to the college application deadline.   Keep in mind that this also includes any teacher recommendation forms.  Tell your teacher to also meet this deadline, which means you must ask for their recommendation several weeks prior.  The teachers will need to give their recommendation and form directly to our office, not back to you. If you are applying via Common App, your teachers will upload their rec into your account.
