AP Testing

What is AP Testing?

High school students take AP courses and exams to challenge themselves, explore their interests, and earn college credit and placement. The AP Program gives students a taste of college-level work while developing the academic skills needed for success in college. Many students' AP exam scores allow them to earn college credit before ever stepping onto a campus and many are then able to skip introductory college courses.

To find a listing of individual colleges and universities and their policy on accepting AP exam scores, please visit https://ap.collegeboard.org/.

AP Exam Registration

Registration and payment for AP exams will be available from October 1 - November 1, 2025. The fee for each exam is $110. The fee for AP Research and Seminar is $150. There will be a $40 cancellation fee if a student chooses to cancel their exam prior to test day. Students not registered by November 1, 2025 can be placed on a waitlist. If approved, there is a $40 non-refundable late fee. There is no guarantee an exam can be ordered when registering late.

Exam registration is a two-step process. Completion of both steps is required for a successful registration.

Step One: Register and pay for AP exams at Total Registration
Step Two: Students need to Join AP Classroom
