Frequently Asked Questions
Please Note:
All volunteers do NOT need a fingerprint background check. Only those volunteers who may be alone with a student or students, including chaperones on a field trip, need a cleared fingerprint background check. If you are a current employee, SSD employee, Community Ed employee or substitute in the Rockwood School District, you are already cleared as a volunteer. All visitors to our schools must still sign in through SchoolPass, regardless of whether or not they have had a fingerprint background check.
More information can be found on the Volunteers main page.
